Living is Working…

I’ve been to the dentist about three times in the last two months and I have to say, it’s not fun!  I think I’ve got good teeth and feel a recent need to check them as I accept I’m growing older.  I’m discovering maybe not because my dentist sees everything and advises me of root canals and other parts of my teeth that aren’t visible to the naked eye.  Under the light, I realize how sensitive I am and how I dislike gadgets in my mouth.  Over time, I’ve learnt more about the dental world and tried to incorporate new practices into my routine.  Right now, I realize self-care is a full time job!  A lot needs to be done for one’s self; by way of personal hygiene, appearance, healthy dieting and working out as examples.  Yet this requires time, resources and effort.  And that’s just for the body; not to mention necessary treatments for mind and spirit!  It’s pretty evident attention needs to be given to all parts of life and creating a rhythm or habit is important.  Amidst busy schedules, responsibilities and desires, it’s only normal for one to neglect a few of these things.

I would love to hear any feedback, suggestions or stories about your own journey…
