Curtain Call…

Last Saturday of the year, while driving through the leafy suburbs of North London on my weekend morning routine, I noticed a dead squirrel in the middle of the road.  I slowed down to navigate round it and through my peripheral observed its head was smashed with blood dripping onto the asphalt; must have been hit by a fast car the previous night.  This picture stayed with me for the rest of the day.  In a weird way, I wondered if the squirrel’s family knew where it was and if the squirrel had achieved what it had set out to do?  What kind of life had the squirrel lived?  Did it die with unrealised dreams and passions?  I reckon these questions were a reflection of my personal state at the time.  I accept all things must come to an end at some point.  I feel my time is far from close; so till then, I am reminded to continue living by believing for the best and taking action accordingly.  They say all life is a stage; I say this year was a beautiful show full of amazing experiences and this is my curtain call.  Thanks to each and everyone of you for reading my shared thoughts and sharing in my personal growth over time; I appreciate it and wish you nothing but the best in all you do.  Happy New Year!

I would love to hear any feedback, suggestions or stories about your own journey…
