I can’t remember when exactly I started to realize my mom wasn’t the cutest girl but it must have been in my early teens. This was when I fell in love with curves; provocative girls from all over the world in sensual poses on glossy paper really tickled my fancy. And of course, the amazing and tantalizing feeling that followed from self-indulgence was always a highlight. These were wonderful moments of personal discovery, honing of skills and its associated pleasures. The other day, I heard Playboy was changing their strategy by no longer publishing naked women in their material. This rekindled memories of my younger days; more so, I was reminded of change and how nothing stays the same. Seems like Hugh Hefner and team had realized their declining relevance in the current world of the internet. As such, they decided to reinvent themselves by changing their focus. No matter how long you’ve been doing something, it’s never too late to try something new. Yes, it requires a lot of energy, by way of motivation, attention and effort but it’s possible and a lot of times, it’s necessary as it’s the only way to true happiness or success.
