Sensing, Feeling and Listening…

It’s quite normal to have all seasons occur in one day in  London.  So it might start off cold and breezy, then become bright and sunny only to end wet and rainy and if lucky, we might actually get some hailstorm in the mix!  Of course, this creates a somewhat interesting situation especially when it comes to deciding what to wear and if an umbrella would be part of your ensemble or not.  The other day, everything pointed to a bright and sunny day and I was excited for it to be so.  Yet before leaving my home, I felt I should take an umbrella with me which I ended up doing after a little deliberation.  It was safe to say, I stood out like a sort thumb carrying my black full sized umbrella with a solid wooden hook handle! Now I went out after work and on my way back home, it started to rain and it was a heavy rain.  I smiled when I finally got home.  I was reminded that we know everything we need to know about ourselves and life by way of our conscience or inner voice; sensing, feeling and listening are more important than we know.  I’ve recently been rediscovering this truth and find it self evident as life is indeed more than what we see and touch each day.

I would love to hear any feedback, suggestions or stories about your own journey…
